Food & Beverage Incubator
Are you looking to expand your packaged foods business? Are you ready to launch a new consumer packaged good? This 6-week cohort is designed to help you take advantage of growth opportunities to expand your business.
This cohort based program is an accelerated, 100% virtual learning cohort sponsored by the Virginia Small Business Development Center & led by Cureate Courses for growth-oriented consumer packaged food & beverage producers with ready-to-scale operations within the Capital Region (Richmond, Henrico, Hanover/Ashland, Chesterfield, Powhatan & Goochland counties).
This dynamic and interactive program will enable you to:
- Establish your unique value proposition
- Develop your positioning and branding
- Identify sales growth opportunities
In order to be eligible for the program, companies must be:
– Producers of food and beverage products in the consumer-packaged goods category
– Planning for specific growth (e.g. territory, product lines, production scale)

Alcohol producers are not eligible for this program but can receive services through the Craft Beverage Assistance program: https://www.virginiasbdc.org/programs/craftbeverage/
Interested companies must fill out application by 5:00PM (EST) Wednesday, July 27th to be considered for the program. The course will begin on Wednesday, August 17th at 8:30AM. Weekly class sessions will be held virtually every Wednesday morning (8:30-10:00 AM) beginning on August 17th.
Applicants will need to be ready to dedicate 6-8 hours per week to work on their product ideas through interactive webinars, self-led e-modules, and other assignments during the program.
