Living Water Community Center, founded in 2019, was created to help build healthier communities on the Southside of Richmond. Living Water is a modern abbey and community center with groups meeting throughout the week, a robust agricultural program that distributes hundreds of pounds of fresh produce throughout the south side of Richmond, and a working apiary that cares for dozens of honeybee colonies throughout the city.

Through contemplative practices such as yoga and meditation, mindful beekeeping and urban farming, Living Water hopes to create a more harmonious relationship between humanity and earth. They currently hold mediation three times a day, Monday-Friday, at 6:30-7:00 AM, 12:00-12:30 PM, and 5:30-6:00 PM. Their Backyard Beehive Initiative allows residents and organizations in Richmond to learn more about beekeeping by hosting a beehive and working with an experienced beekeeper during Spring and Summer.

Drew Nagy serves as Executive Director of Living Water Community Center and Pastor of Westover Baptist Church. Drew brings his passion and expertise of urban gardening and beekeeping to help build a healthier earth community. Drew is a graduate of Virginia Tech and Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond.
